Next week is Liberation Day, the island celebration of the day Guernsey was Liberated from the Occupying German Forces.
One of the local garden centres has been getting into the spirit and has produced this impressive display of mannequins and fake fruit and vegetables to encourage people to grow more food and be more self-sufficient.
If I had a Guernsey flag I’d fly it for you over in Cheshire. I forgot to fly the St’ George’s flag on his day last month!
I’ll send you one Beryl!
Last night I dreamt that I went on holiday to Guernsey….and among other things went to a WWII exhibition. I am entirely blaming you for this!
