Whilst The Mister and I lay on the sofas in the lounge Stef (or Pedro as I have started to call her – it suits her!) and Billy lay on the sofa in the conservatory.
Perfect peace on a Sunday.
I have felt absolutely knackered all day. I went to the car boot sale and then for a quick swim and after lunch I had a little sleep on the sofa. I haven’t had a day in ages where I have felt so tired and had so little energy.
So, what else do I photograph when I have run out of ideas, but Billy the lovely and stupid pussy cat?
On a sunny day when the air is cold Dad’s greenhouse is the place to be. At one point both Billy and Justin were reclining next to Dad’s seedlings, admittedly I suspect they were trying to avoid my niece and nephew who seem to think that the cats love being smacked in the face or cuddled hard.
Billy is the laziest cat around. Always found in the warmest spot, making sure that he gets his obligatory 20 hours sleep a day. I love him though. He has the nicest pink nose and pink paws and he is just adorable.
It’s been another gorgeous day here today. Sadly I spent most of it secreted away in an office listening to drug users talk rubbish at me! I have no idea how I am going to cope in the middle of summer when I am just able to look out at the sunshine and not get out there and enjoy it!
Billy the Cat has been quite poorly. He went right off his food which, as any of you who may have met Billy would know, means he was Proper Poorly. I don’t think he ate for nearly a week which was unheard of! It turned out that he had ringworm so a quick dose of wormer and he has got better since then. He is such a character and we would be gutted to lose him!
